RFD has the most incredible food and it's also the ONLY Kosher restaurant in Santa Monica. The triple decker club is my favorite sandwich and the ravioli special is amazing. The desserts are ridiculously good. The cupcake makes even the most jaded Angeleno feel like a kid again. Go for the raspberry chocolate cake when it's available. (hurry...it sells out fast). The staff is so friendly and really make the place what it is. The chef's table in the Santa Monica bakery is a great place to meet like-minded people and feel like a part of a community. RFD is simply my favorite place to enjoy a relaxing time and a delicious meal.
